We will arrange for you to pick up the car on your arrival at Zante airport (and you will also need to return it to the airport on your departure day) - see page 138 for car details & conditions. Directions on how to reach your holiday accommodation will be given to you on arrival in Zante. Ktima Kourou is located 9km from the airport and 7km from Zante Town. |

Set amidst an outstanding 6000m2 landscape of olive groves and located near Tragaki (about 300m from the beach and 2km from Tsilivi), this country farm estate belongs to the Kouros family who has recently created this stunning cluster of 5 individual and traditionally built houses. Stone from the mountain villages, ceilings made of wooden logs, thick doors and wrought iron beds reflect all the building traditions of long ago. The warmth and cosy atmosphere also holds many reminders of the past with elegant mirrors and historical gravures plus linen, lace curtains and crocheted blankets handmade by the women of the family. Completing this charming picture is a pretty patio surrounded by lovely shrubs, hammocks hanging from old olive trees, a pond where guests are welcome to feed the ducks plus an outdoor pool planned for the start of the Summer 2008 season. This is a superb group of top-class holiday properties within walking distance to a handful of small shops and tavernas - highly recommended!
Accommodation
Whilst all villas are different in shape and size, their standard amenities include an open-plan living area/sitting area, fireplace, dining area with table and chairs, TV, telephone, hairdryer and a well-equipped kitchen with fridge, cooker & oven, climatic control. Bedrooms have either a double-bed or twin-beds - some bedrooms have en-suite bathroom. Private balconies and patios overlook the gardens. There's also a main reception area, patio with barbecue facilities, internet access & a children's playground. An outdoor pool and poolside snack-bar are planned for the start of Summer 2008 season. · 1-Bedroom Villa Dopia for up to 3 persons (approx. 85m2) is a cute villa with a wrought iron double-bed in its attic bedroom · 1-Bedroom Villa Roma for up to 5 persons (approx. 100m2) is set on two floors and boasts unusual hand-made furniture made of solid wood · 2-Bedroom Villa Kavelari for up to 5 persons (approx. 140m2) is on 2 floors - the rustic furniture is made of wood & iron and it has a lovely 70m2 garden · 2-Bedroom Villa Trageto for up to 5 persons (approx. 140m2) is set on 2 floors and has hand-painted wooden beds and Zakynthian gravures decorating the walls · 3-Bedroom Villa Atzarto for up to 8 persons is a spacious two-storey villa (approx. 200m2) with a 40m2 garden - main floor has well-equipped kitchen and living room plus a bedroom with a romantic wooden bed with lace canopy.
