The views from the Panorama Hotel's hillside location are indeed panoramic and the steep slope to reach the entrance from the main road is a small price to pay for the vista! The complex is built on several tiers and is made up of a 3-storey main building (the Panorama) and an executive wing (the Panorama Blue - see opposite page). It can be recommended to anyone seeking to combine comfort, good service plus a handful of tavernas within walking distance along the road in Kato Galatas. Although the nearest shingle/pebble beach is just below the hotel across the busy main road, the majority of the guests prefer to make the most of the splendid pool complex at the Panorama. The local bus stops just outside the hotel, providing a good service into the beautiful and interesting town of Chania approximately 5km away. If you want more independence to explore at your own pace, plan to hire a car for at least part of your stay.
