Grecotel Cape Sounio boasts one of the most dramatic settings in the Attica province. Located some 67km from Athens, it clings to a pine-clad hillside with panoramic views of the Temple of Poseidon, the most famous archaeological site in the area, while behind is the verdant backdrop of the Sounio National Park. Shaped like an amphitheatre, this luxurious hotel looks down upon two beautiful bays (one sandy, one shingle) which are reached by underground passages. When you are not simply admiring the view, there are plenty of recreational opportunities, including the Elixir Health Club where you can really recharge the batteries.
